Article Processing Charge
The Context Journal of English Studies applies an Article Processing Charge (APC) to support the costs associated with the publication of accepted manuscripts. These charges ensure the sustainability of our open-access model, enabling global dissemination of high-quality research without paywall barriers.
APC Structure
The APC varies based on the number of authors and must be paid upon acceptance, before final publication:

Payment Guidelines
- Accepted Currencies: Indian Rupee (INR) and/or US Dollar (USD).
- Payment Methods:
- Bank Transfer (India)
- UPI/Credit Card (RuPay only for Indian transactions)
- PayPal (International authors only)
- Deadline: Payment is due after manuscript acceptance but before publication, within three days from the receipt of the acceptance email.
Waivers & Discounts
Partial or complete waivers may be granted to authors demonstrating financial need. Requests must be submitted before manuscript submission for consideration. Read the waiver policy
APC Coverage
The charge supports critical publishing services, including:
- Editorial Processes: Peer review management, copyediting, and quality checks.
- Production: Professional typesetting, formatting, and XML conversion.
- Dissemination: Hosting, indexing, and long-term digital preservation.
Publication Certificate (Optional)
- If you require a publication certificate, an additional certificate fee is applicable as mentioned below:
- Publication certificate fee: INR 150 / USD 5 (Digital certificate by email)
Refund Policy
- No refunds will be issued for withdrawals after acceptance or for retractions due to ethical violations.
- Authors assume responsibility for adherence to submission guidelines; non-compliance will not warrant reimbursement.
